View Full Version : Additional 10 day extension to 60 day tourist visa

May 9th, 2007, 12:41
Hi all. I spent a month in Bangkok followed by a month in Pattaya and am now back in Bangkok. I extended my 60 day visa by 30 days at the Pattaya immigration office. I want to leave Thailand a little later than the 60 days because a friend is flying in from the States and I want to spend a few days with him before I leave to go back to London. I heard there is an additional 10 day extension possible for 1900 BHT. Anybody have any experience of this? Advice gratefully appreciated. And the sad sarcastic comments that will also appear are also most welcome!!

Somewhere I have seen (a couple of times actually) that one is only allowed to stay in Thailand for 90 days in a total of a 6 month period tourist wise.

Possible,

When you got your extension in Pattaya.

If your stamp says it is under consideration and to report back to immigration, then they will usually extend again for 7/14 days.If your stamp has final on it and it says something like after that period you must leave the country then that's it!
