Current situation of go go bar scene in Bangkok

Could any recent visitors or residents tell what the current situation in the go go bars is like in Bangkok? In bars such as the Tawan, Future Boys and Jupiter are the boys dancing in just their speedos or wearing T shirts as was the case a while back.

The situation as of last night is, pot luck my friend. Some bars, probably the ones not paying enough are getting checked, so it is shorts and shirts.

The majority, according to Tam's friend who lives, works and frequents these places regularly, MOST bars are back in underwear.

As, I said, it changes regularly.

Yes, it's not consitant but most recently in most bars it's shirtless. As the door boys say, take a look you self. Many of the doors are open, you can see from the soi, no shirts.

As for shows, same-same, not consistant. Weekends are a better bet. Low season now, so if you don't like being the only customer in a bar choose your bars carefully.

Drop by Dick's have a drink and speak to the locals and visitors and take it from there. From a table you can watch, listen, learn and relax.

Low season is great, still Thai boys and less farangs, works out well.
