Any recent information/updates on Saphan Kwai bars?

On my next trip I plan to stay at the Karnmanee Palace in Saphan Kwai for a change from Silom/suriwong. I have searched for info on the bars there, but there doesn't seem to be very much posted lately on the area. It is a couple of years since I last visited the area, has anyone visited there recently and can give some current info/updates please.
