Anyone know if there is a Happy/DTAC mobile phone store at the airport, Survarnabhumi? They had one at the old airport. Wondering about the new one. Also, curious how late it is open assuming the answer is that there is one. Thanks.

There is a counter for DTAC, sorry don't know the hours. It is on arrivals level after coming out of customs.

On a similar subject, is there an AIS counter at the new airport where one can get your phone fitted and set up with a Thai SIM? Semm to remember that someone, somewhere mentioned there was. Also any idea of their opening times if there is (my pal arrives shortly at 0600 in the morning on an overnight flight and wants to take up my suggestion of getting a Thai mobile number).

Thanks in advance for any info.

On your way out of airport you will pass both counters, AIS (1,2, call) and DTAC (Happy) at your right hand side. Service is good at no extra costs; they charge same price as everywhere.
