For departure from 23 April till end of June. Fare class "W" will give you 50% of actual miles flown if you collect airmiles.

Book at www.expedia.co.uk (http://www.expedia.co.uk) and also at most agents, but expedia do not charge credit card fee.

the fare you quote seems at first glance to be rather expensive.

If you look here: WestEastTravel (http://www.westeasttravel.com/user/default.asp) you will see Thai Airways flights for 320GBPounds return.

They seem a good outfit, friends in the UK have used them with no problems

For fans of e-tickets, www.airline-network.co.uk (http://www.airline-network.co.uk) can now issue e-tickets on THAI flights and send you your e-ticket via e-mail. Fare is a little higher - 414.90 inc tax plus credit card fee ( no fee if pay by debit card ).

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm finding Airfare for this Summer (I plan on coming in June) to be VERY high. Same as Dec/Jan high season. R/T from LA to BKK on EVA Econ. Deluxe = $1600 US (including tax); THAI deluxe Economy = $1700 US. Even Economy (which I won't subject myself too) is over $1000 US. In the past, I have been able to book summer flights for around $800 US for EVA Econ. Deluxe. I guess those days are gone!

I've used EVA 6-7 times in the last 3 years to fly from the US to LOS and it's been my experience that EVA charges it's highest fees during our summer (June, July and August) months. Its low-end cost for the evergreen deluxe during the non-summer months used to run about $900.00 but the fuel surcharges last fall have brought that up to about $1,000.00 (or a little more). But its $500.00 more in the summer.

I just checked for flight over on October 1st and its $896.00 (translates to $1,059.00 with all taxes and fees).

Sorry Chukwow, didn't read the small print. You are right. My apologies.
