I GREATLY enjoy the new video links on SGF as I am finding that video on the web is becoming an important part of my web experience (and no, not referring to the x rated stuff). I've really enjoyed seeing LOS up close and personal in some of the You Tube vids posted in the past couple of days. I think video enhances the forum and will enhance the conversations. Responding to posted videos will IMO be as worthwhile as responding to much of the semantic jousting that goes on here.

And speaking of Brilliant, I'm going to share with any guitar lovers a little known masterpiece from a young semi-pro musician. The artist/composer is Joey O. Lives in London. Written 6 years ago after a close friend died from a drugs overdose. The track is an expression of feeling at that time. Brilliant. If you like guitar solos, don't miss this one. It was available for a time on Mp3.com which is where this download comes fro. I knew (then) the artist... he has been to my home... he would have no objections to friends appreciating his music.

I take this track with me whenever I travel... especially of course Thailand. Reminds me of Isaan music :happy10:

The Rapidshare link works for me. If you're not familiar with Rapidshare, you need to click on the "free" button at the bottom of the right hand column of the table and wait for your "download ticket" to countdown, then enter the code that's displayed in the box and the download should begin.

Rapidshare has a reputation for being a challenge. They are a for-pay upload/download site and begrudgingly let freeloaders like you and me jump through hoops for a limited amount of downloads. You usually have to wait an hour before doing another download, and sometimes the freebie downloads creep along in single-digit bps...

When you are trying to download a full length movie split into eight pieces, it just isn't worth the trouble. But for Dicks' little music clip, it's not TOO bad.

bkkgwm, the trick is (and I expect you've already worked it out), if you are using a connection with a dynamically assigned IP, to disconnect and then re-connect to obtain a new IP thus fooling Rapidshare into allowing you consecutive free downloads without the 1 hour wait!
