This beautiful and gracious lady, gave a sellout Bangkok audience a real treat and was rewarded with several standing ovations. Hopefully this great success will attract more world class stars to Thailand.

The Nation "Accompanied by pianist Hartmut Holl, the performance will showcase her vocal talent, stylistic versatility and uncommon commitment to dramatic portrayal.

The concert will include Mozart's "Laudamus Te", from "Mass in C minor K427". Fleming will also perform one of her signature pieces, "Rusalka's Song to The Moon" from the opera "Rusalka" by Dvorak. The recording of her performance of this role was awarded two Gramophones as Best Opera and Record of the Year in 1998. Fleming will also perform Korngold's "Ich Soll Ihn Niemals, Niemals Mehr Sehn" from the opera Die Kathrin. This aria is also included in Fleming's latest CD "Homage: The Age of the Diva", comprising rarely heard works associated with great singers of the past and released last October. The memorable night will conclude with two of Puccini's most famous arias - "O Mio Babbino Caro", or "O My Beloved Father", from "Gianni Schicchi", and "Vissi D'Arte" from "Tosca".
