As the crash on the Chinese Stock Exchange starts to hit home it would be consistent with this sort of crash if all other Asian economies are impacted by this. The Chinese Stocks have been severely overvalued in recent times and the government warnings about these valuations have been largely ignored by investors so action has become essential.

The next week or so should see a lot more fluctuation both ways in the rates of exchange.
