I prefer Villa Mansland in Prague. Better prices and you can deal with the owner. The owner of new Nouvum was the former manager of villa mansland. He was enforcing strict high prices policy to milk gay customers.

peter48,

I also like Villa Mansland. (I have nor been at the Novuum).
I have stayed at Villa Mansland several years ago as a guest and found Harry - their owner/manager - most informative.
He offered good information about Gay Prague...and the places of interest to see and things to do while in Prague.

Here is Villa Mansland's website:

http://www.villa-mansland.com/ .

"Would you like to visit Prague spontaneously ?
No matter if you come by train, car or airplane. If you book less than 48 hours before your arrival, we offer you :

and here is an unusual special ...free nights for Chef of the Day :-)

Attention hobby Chefs!

From October 20th 2006 we would like one of our guests to volunteer to present a menu from his own country:
our Friday special. The guest cook will be supported by our own kitchen staff to produce a menu of food and
drink showing our other guests the flavours of his favourite local food. LetтАЩs treat ourselves and establish a
Friday tradition at Villa Mansland of samples of different national cuisines presented by our own guests with full
support from our own staff. The guest cook will be offered free accommodation on the Friday and Saturday

I agree. When you participate at the "boy of the month" contest you can win free weekend in the villa. I know harry for many years. Erich from clubberrestaurant was having the restaurant some years ago before leaving back to germany.
I stay there every 2 month for one weekend or longer. Most of the boys are very friendly and you can deal down to 500 czech koruns for one fun. The winner of the contest boy of the year will win 1 free week in the villa.Next time stay there 25.-28.05.07.

I visited the Gay Guesthouse Nouvum Garden lately. Before I weas a guest of Villa Mansland.
tried out this guesthouse recently and oh what a joy! So much better than anything Prague has had for a long time. Run by Peter (previously of Villa Mansland ) and his team, it is situated close to Metro station Skalka. That makes it very convenient transport to and from the airport in conjunction with bus 119 to Dejvica taking about 45 minutes. Peter can also arrange a taxi instead. Tram routes 22 and 26 stop just outside providing an enjoyable and only slightly longer means of reaching the centre, the castle or the main railway station.
The house has been refurbished from to to bottom in only 3 months and boasts rooms all en suite with magnificent tiled bathrooms and brand new furnishing fittings and bed linen. A look at the website will show pictures of the rooms. the junior suite at the top of the building is super luxury for a reasonable price.
Each room is equipped with satelite TV with a mind boggling 500 channels from around the world! A safe, free water and alarm clock (if you need one!!)
Every day will begin with a fine selection of food for breakfast which is included in the room price for you and your overnight guest. A daily special evening meal can also be provided at a reasonable cost.
In the evenings you can relax in the well stocked comfortable bar in the company of a young man if you wish. Peter has contact with reliable and friendly ones who will only come on request to the guest house.

Try it soon before everyone finds out about it!

Hi Peter 48

I think you are wrong with the prices of Villa Mansland and Nouvum Garden Prague. The Standard room at Mansland has no own shower and no toilet. The Standard room at Nouvum has a large bathroom and the roomrate includes breakfast, no matter if one or two guests. You better have a vist there before you talk about it And the Standart room is even bigger and better furnishred then the more expensive DeLuxe room at Mansland, which has old, broken shower cabin (plastik doors). Novum has cristal glass shower and now a wonderful steamsauna and fore summer the annouce a swimmingpool. Even their Junior Suite ist much largen then at Villa Mansland and has a huge bathroom. Have a look at ther videos on ther
website or better spend a afternoon there and see it yourself at their website nouvum /check google

Best regards Klaus

I stayed at Mansland some times ago and now I know the difference...anyway, I am not looking for boys from the station for 300 or 500 kc in my hotel

Oh yes Klaus i believe you or may be your name is Peter....... No more messages here only 2 for promoting and defending nouvum.....
What about the guests only stayed one night in nouvum and changed to villa mansland? Why they do it?
Have spoken with 2 of them because i stayed same time in villa mansland.

Hi Peter48, why do you call me Peter ? Can't you red my name ? I am sure guests of Villa Mansland try Nouvum Garden and they return to Villa Manland.
Since I am regular guest of Nouvum Garden, I met guests from Villa Mansland as well and they prefer Nouvum Garden now. So what ? And the room rates are better then in Villa Mansland. Check out their rates at www.nouvum.com (http://www.nouvum.com) We all have our preferences.

I saw on the homepage the waiter/barman lukas - he was working before in villa mansland untill he has stolen money and was fired. Prices from 1900 czech crowns (81 тВм) >>> no thanks!!

July 15th, 2008, 00:47

It is not true that Lukas hast stolen Money at the Hotel Villa Mansland. ! And you can get a room for less then 1500 CZK at Nouvum Garden, including breakfast and a nice, big bathroom/toilet (this offer is for 1 or 2 guests in one room which means only 750 CZK per person including breakfast. That is really cheap for a Gay Hotel in Prague

Pricelist from the homepage!! http://www.nouvum.com/html/room_rates.html
And even if somebody only helps passively when the friend takes money out of the money-box i call it thief!
And even 1499CZK would be a price to prefer good hotels in the city.

Executive (1/4/10/14)
2.250 CZK offer 1.900 CZK

Premium Executive (2/3/11/12)
2.550 CZK offer 2.200 CZK

Executive (20/23) (suite floor)
2.670 CZK offer 2.200 CZK

Junior Suite (21)
3.750 CZK offer 3.100 CZK

All rooms for 1-2 guests (same room rate)
offer valid until 30.09.2008

For somebody visiting 1-2 times a hotel you know very much details and you make to much promotion. Somebody could believe you are the owner. And for sure you have another explanation why lukas was quickly disappearing from his long time job in villa mansland with his good spanish speaking czech friend.

July 15th, 2008, 18:51
Hello Peter,

it is up to you what you think, you can promote your favourite hotel in Prague as much as you like. I am not the owner of Nouvum Garden. But since Jan. 2007 I have been there more often then 1-2 times. And I am well informed.

You also, say that Lukas left VM because something went wrong. But that is not true and of course I know the reason why he left. By the way, VM still has his photo and a fake e-mail address of Lukas on their website. But if you "mail" to Lukas he will never get the mail, but someone else replies the mail ! And I don't believe that all the other boys on that site get the mail. There are other guys who are no longer at VM or they even have never been there but you can write to them..... Have a good time in Asia. Klaus

July 15th, 2008, 21:36
I dont promote any hotel - i only say my opinion. I dont care about any pictures on their homepages - i dont want to contact anybody. 3 reliable sources told me the story and i believe it. No plaintiff no judge. I dont care - it was not my money it was the money of the hotel money box. And sure after some stays you know all backgrounds - i was staying in prague since 1972 and i know whats going on.
I now have finished with prague because of no value for money - there are better cities to visit for fun. Have a good time in nouvum guesthouse.

I found Villa Mansland after I had paid in advance for an apartment just near Wencelas Square. I thought it convenient to hire a second room at Villa for use during the daytime as they had rent boys in the foyer that
I found attractive. I took it from day to day in case it did not work out.

After I got used to the underground it was extremely easy to move around by train and tram, not only to Villa.

The visit before I got picked up at the airport by a model I had fallen for some years prior to my visit, when he was featured in commando uniform on William Higgins. He had changed but was proud of his modelling time. This time it might have been his father thet met me.

I thought Escape and Drakes not worthy of a second visit, the station dangerous but the city was chocka block full of handsome, blonde hair, blue eyed boys, slim, trim, taut and terrific.

Enjoyed my trips to the swimming pool. Very interesting. Not as good as Budapest but ---------------
