There are so many possibilities today. I haven’t been there for some time but I am pretty certain that the following locations are still on.

Near bar streets there are usually hairdressers. They usually do offer more than just a hair cut. Look where the staff is mixed, with some male. Just drop in and ask the barbers for gay or mixed bars, they know all of them for sure.

Be aware that’s not uncommon to make some payment as reward for sexual activities.

Shen Zhen
Across from Starbuck, find Shenzhen International Bar Street, Zhongxin Citic Plaza, Middle Rd, Futian District

Betterole Disco, bar and karaoke on Chun Feng Road is often very mixed.

Face caf├й is hip. The pub is busy every night. Good DJ. Part of the Lushan Hotel, Luohu

Dong Hai international street and probably the best is Gen Ju Di disco.

Shekou Bar Street which is the oldest bar area in Shenzhen

Windows of the World theme park is always good for cruising.

Si Hai Park. Meet gays of any age between 19 and 22 hrs. Most are between 18 and mid 40 years old. Look around near rest rooms, and dark wooded areas, both park and benches. They also know which bad or venue is en vogue presently.

Department stores in Dongmen, the Lu Won Shopping Center, or Jia Le Fu Bazaar at Fuyong town. Look for cosmetics, appeals or mobile phones and you will meet many gays.

Underground is also very good for cruising.


Guangzhou

Pending where you are staying, just ask the bell boy for free copy of “PRD” magazine which advertises in English. The boy probably knows also several gay/mixed venues.

After dark, try the south end of Beijing Lu, where the road meets up with Yanjiang Lu and the broad dark expanse of the Zhu Jiang just beyond.

BaieTan Bar Street in Fangcun District, across the Pearl River just leave underground and follow sings for less than1 km. Just cruise bars and discos to find out which is popular with gay crowd. Look especially at karaoke places.

Xingang Lu near Post Office. Check toilets upstairs (urinals on first floor) or the stairs nearby..

Shanghai, Hong Kong, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Xiamen, and Shenzhen were thoroughly surveyed on location two months ago (new gay map for Hong Kong just added a couple weeks ago).
