The new Governor of Chonburi Provence, Khun Pracha Taerat, has said that he would like to have monthly meetings with foreigners (expats) and Thai residents. The purpose of the meetings will be to try to establish a dialogue between they and the City of Pattaya to work on improving the business and living environment in Pattaya.

He has scheduled the first of these meetings for Feb. 13, 2007 at the Garden Sea View Hotel, Grandhall Room, from 5:30 PM as outlined in the general announcement and reservation form below.

To encourage him in his effort, it is important that this first meeting be as well attended as possible. Can you advise or notify your expats friends, Clubs and people who might be interested in the future of Pattaya of this meeting, and encourage them to attend. Please ask them to make a reservation for it so the Mayor and the Governor can see that the Expat groups in Pattaya are very much in favor of such meetings. We have received about 60 reservations since the first notice went out Saturday, Feb. 3. It would be good if we could get close to the 100 number the Governor would like.
