regarding our dear friend The Gay Pattayan - Allen.

And thanks again Boxer for the great photos you took of the Jomtien Gay Business Community Street Party held Feb 1st for GP's benefit.

Sunday Feb 4
Allen has returned home from Hospital and I was able to speak with him today. He sounds bright and says he is tired but alert and able to walk a little this morning without losing his balance.

Some have questioned the aims of the Fund and the involvement of Thais 4 Life. Can I repeat that Thais 4 Life are only offering their Bank facilities as a transparent Trust fund for this money raised and it is not part of the T4L plan to administer the fund; there help is acknowledged and appreciated as is the Spice Credit Card facility in operation.

The previously stated aims were, "I hope the fund, by spreading the load amongst us all, will provide this cash back to friends, who have paid out or guaranteed it and give Allen a buffer assurance that any further treatment this year is covered. I estimate that to be approx 270000 baht or $7100. When that is reached the fund will be accounted for publicly and wound up as I do not want this urgent appeal to go on and on."

If all promises are completed and with the present inflow of funds I hope to be able to announce that the Fund will be wound up after the Cafe Royale Benefit next Saturday Feb 10th.

My personal thanks and those of Allen, go to all who have donated and helped with this Appeal.
