It looks like this is being billed as VT8: http://www.viewtalaymarinabeachcondo.com/

I noticed the yellow construction sign a few weeks ago. It's on Jomtien Beach Road just before reaching Chiyapruek. At least it won't be blocking anybody's current view.

This appears to be a different company (contact #'s on sign are not for VT). Many projects use View Talay somewhere in their name.

When I saw the construction sign, I noticed "VIEWTALAY" as one word, but when their promo literature said "Project 8" I jumped to the conclusion that this was a continuation of the VT family. The picture sure looks like the other VT buildings (except VT-7, of course).

You could be right, that box sure looks familiar. A visit to the VT sales offfice in front of VT2 might be needed to confirm.
