How to post an image in a thread????

Sorry, I am sure this is well-documented, but ..... a senior moment.

Could someone please direct me to the place on this forum that gives the step-by-step method to include an image in a posting?

How do you want to do it?

Two ways ...

(1) you can paste the URL of a photo image you already have uploaded and hosted by and photo website (such as www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) or www.photodump.com (http://www.photodump.com) ~ and many others). To use this method:


open up the hosting site[/*:m:2h7pp97c]
choose the photo image you wish to place in a message[/*:m:2h7pp97c]
right clck on the image and go down to the bottom of the function list and click on 'Properties'[/*:m:2h7pp97c]
highlight and copy the URL of your image[/*:m:2h7pp97c]
then paste it into your message[/*:m:2h7pp97c]
surround the entire URL with square brackets ( your image URL should look like this: your image URL here )[/*:m:2h7pp97c]

... OR ... (2) you can place a photo image which you already have living on your own hard drive in your 'My Pictures' folder (or wherever you store them). To use this method, just look down to the bottom left corner of the message-compose window and you'll see a link called "Add image to post". Click on that and follow the instructions.
