Another AIDS death

I have not been able to access the board for some time, not having found the way past the block, so my apologies if this has been covered before.
Many months ago there was a discussion about a boy called Nui, who had been a long-term boyfriend with an American who had died. A number were concerned for Nui's welfare.
Sadly I know that Nui died over a month ago. It was AIDS related. He was working one day in his bar, 3 Zone, at the bar feeling sick the next, and died less than a week later.
I am sorry if this news has already featured, but I thought it better to be sure the sad news was known.

Dodger had been with him at the hospital just before he passed away and reported that Nu died from meningitis. This is easily transmitted by innocuous contact and surprisingly common in young people.

As far as I know, Nu's gay Thai friends had no knowledge of any other illness.

Also, Nu was not Jon (zzz)'s boyfriend, and Jon was from the UK not America. You are correct that he had passed away.
