Arrived Saturday morning at new airport. From some of the horror stories I read thus far, I was expecting the worst. To my pleasant surprise, the airport was a breeze. Took 6 minutes to walk to customs. Around 5 minutes in line. Waited 10 minutes for luggage and was out the door in a cab 35 minutes after exiting aircraft. I arrived at Pinnacle 30 minutes later. Cab ride to Pinnacle was 350 baht, including airport tax and tolls. Pinnacle was out of big beds the first day, so I had to settle for 2 singles, although was able to get a big bed my 2nd night.
Saturday afternoon went to Candle T for massage. Last time in Bangkok I had Mr Bee, who gave an extraordinary massage. This time Mr Bee was not available, so settled for Mr Keang. I was not disappointed, but will stick with Bee from now on.
Didn't go into go go bars in Bangkok. DJ Station was busy as usual Saturday night.
Used Toon's taxi service to get to Pattaya today. Very satisfied with the service and highly recommend.
