Hotel Limos - Airport to Pattaya

Now that the new Airport is up and running, and so much nearer to Pattaya, why are the Gay Hotel websites still charging the same amount for their limo service??
And anyone know whether regular taxis in Pattaya have reduced their fares??Gems and Phon for example?

The difference in distance between old and new aiport is 29 kms only. The conective has improved a lot, so you get there from Pattaya more speedy.

Do not expect a drop in prices a all. There are rising costs for running vehicles to much. And the extra Baht is always welcome.

Taxi from new aiport to Pattaya is now around TBT 1.000 to 1.200 plus toll way charges (or inclusive if you can bargain well).

Recently used GEM-Phons taxi service from Pattaya to airport and the charge was 1400 Baht including all tolls.
