Laos Accommodation

Does anyone have any knowledge / experience / recommendation of any gay friendly guesthouses / Hotels in Laos.

Dragoncastle site suggests the Syri 2 Guesthouse in Vientiane but no others. Has anyone stayed in the Syri 2 guesthouse.

Information would be much appreciated.

No one in Laos cares whether or not you're gay, so don't bother looking for a "gay-friendly" guest house. There is no such thing as a "gay-unfriendly" guest house.

From my favorite visa run: you could try the Dragon Inn. You'll find it listed at one of the link sites like maybe Dreaded Ned's. It's on a corner on Vientienne's main street. It's owned by a Singaporean who would be "gay friendly". You might find some things going on on their bulletin board, if you decide to stay elsewhere. They CHARGE you for everything, though, so be ready.
