Sounds like the same farang owned venues are putting on the event, same as last year. Thai owned venues are absent.

New parade route? Last year the parade (if you can call it that) merged with traffic on Silom. The best float was the number 115 bus, someone passed gay flags to everyone on the bus and they with considerable enthusiasm waved them from every window on the bus.

Au contraire mon vieux! I think we have a rather exciting year with many new board members and venues taking part, including Ratchadapisek places, not to mention the Lesbian element.

Kudos to Silom Soi 4 venues and Dick's Cafe who kept the whole thing together when others lost interest. Now many Thai gay organisations are involved and we shall see how it runs.

These events are good and help the gay community to come together. I do have mixed feelings about gay parades as they display the more outrageous side of gay life but then parades of men in suits and happy couples in cardigans would not be much fun.

Favourite event - Dragoncastles Sexy Swimwear Competition at Pink in the Park. Hopefully it won't be quite as hot as in previous years. The pool that they use is a sun trap.

I do agree that it is sad that many of the bars don't join in but are the owners gay?

not to mention the Lesbian element.
yes the least said about that the better, Lesbianism leaves a funny taste in the mouth.
