US provides US$50,000 aid to Thai flood victims
The US government Fridya gave US$50,000 to the Thai Red Cross to provide alleviation to flood victims.
U.S. Ambassador Ralph L. Boyce represented the US government to give the aid, which was channeled through through USAID's Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance.
"The people of the United States will never forget and remain grateful for Thailand's response following Hurricane Katrina. In the spirit of friendship and mutual cooperation and support, we offer this assistance as a symbol of our continuing longstanding friendship with the Thai people," U.S. Ambassador to Thailand Ralph L.
