The Double Standard
The rationale usually given by apologists for the two-tiered pricing phenomenon to be found at most tourist destinations in Thailand is that we foreigners do not pay taxes, so it is only proper that we should pay more than Thai citizens to visit establishments of interest maintained from the public purse.

I don't know what it is about that website but I can't stand to look at it. I am sure it is informative with original content but for some reason... I just can't force myself to spend more than 2 minutes there.

Buck, it may be that the front page is so "busy" and cluttered. Perhaps they could apply the concept of "white space".

Consolidating all the green-backgrounded, red-logoed boxes into one simple vertical menu with just the headings visible, and all the sub-entries as fly-out menus would help, as would using cellspacing in the table that has the lead-ins ("read more") for the feature articles.

When I try to access Sticky Rice all I get is a Web Server notice. This has happened for the last couple of days and I hope it gets cleared up soon.

I'm with Bucknaway and BKK GWM. I find the front page has got far too much information crammed on to it. It needs a drastic redesign. I just cannot be bothered to trawl through it as it is.
