are you sure this is the same system being used for UK passport - from the Washington Post, they were on about US passports, not UK. I know the UK system is being overhauled but not to the extent they are using RFID.

Just got a new US passport. No chip that I can see. Is it hidden? I did specifically request extra pages, but they ended up sending me a normal sized passport.

LMTU, please let me tell you that you are so difficult to read! I was surprise to learn from your last post that you are the holder of a UK passport and therefore, I assume, a native English speaker. I am not.
