Hedda's Hopper
As anyone can see from scanning the board, our World Forum has been less that spectacular in attracting posters since we opened for posting. In fact, it's been a complete flop, compared to the Thailand Forum. We're not sure why there seems to be so little interest in discussing non-Thai matters here, even if weтАЩre gratified by the response thus far in the Thai Forum. Perhaps many of our members both in Thailand and abroad prefer to use larger, more internationally oriented boards for those posting interests.
Rather than close the World Forum for lack of interest, or allow it to sit there idle, we decided to ask someone who has an obvious interest in non-Thai internet discussions to take control of the World Forum, in the hope of stimulating some interest there.
We are happy to announce that HEDDA has accepted our email invitation to moderate the World Forum, as soon as he returns from a short holiday and all final arrangements are made. The World Forum will probably be renamed тАЬHeddaтАЩs HopperтАЭ and will feature discussions of any and all matters Hedda may care to raise for discussion. Obviously, the views expressed there by Hedda are his own and do not necessarily reflect the board's position on any matter.As the owner of Hedda's Hopper, and its moderator here, Hedda will have complete editorial control over the Hopper and will, at least at the outset, be the only poster who can initiate new topics there. All articles appearing in the Hopper will be open for comments, however, by any registered member of Bahtstop.
We hope that bringing HeddaтАЩs Hopper to the Bahtstop will add a new dimension to this board. We look forward to a long and successful collaboration with Hedda, which will begin as soon as Hedda is back from holiday and we can agree on the software changes to launch the new venture.
