I saw this on www.sunee-plaza.com (http://www.sunee-plaza.com) and felt it was appropiate to cut and paste.
Do BBB still receive the Government allocation of free condoms for the Pattaya gay bars?

COMING TO PATTAYA? CAN YOU BRING CONDOMS
FOR DR. PHILIPPE AND HEARTT 2000?

The recent visit to Pattaya by a regular visitor who obtained free condoms from his local health department for bringing to Pattaya's Dr. Philippe Seur and his HEARTT 2000 foundation's efforts to care for over 1,200 HIV or AIDS patients in Pattaya has alerted others to the need Dr. Philippe has for a steady supply of condoms, and the availability of free condoms for bringing to Thailand and other lesser developed countries, from many health authorities in other countries.

Wally of Thais4Life writes:

"Dr. Philippe, a legend for his selfless work with HEARTT 2000 in conjunction with Dr. Jureerat of Chonburi Hospital, as part of his treatment, education, and caring for his patients, tries to ensure that they are aware of, and practice, safe sex.

By the doorway in his premises, there is a large box, which he tries to keep stocked with condom supplies, and all of his patients are encouraged to take a small supply as they leave.

Dr. Philippe has an ongoing desperate need for condom stocks for this distribution.

Responsible authorities in many countries readily make free supplies of condoms easily available.

Peter Whiting from Johannesburg, a regular visitor to Pattaya, recently brought a large stock of condoms to Pattaya, courtesy of himself and his friends in South Africa, for Dr Philippe.

The presentation of the 1000 condoms was arranged by David from La Cage and Thais4Life, and Wally from Thais4Life. During the course of the presentation, Dr. Philippe advised that the number of his patients has increased, and he now has 1278 patients - all of whom desperately need the retro viral drugs for controlling HIV, and who also need condoms for their own and their partners' protection.

There are authorities in many overseas countries who make condoms readily available to those who ask for hem, and will supply larger amounts if advised they are for use in countries such as Thailand, where the local authorities here make free distribution of condoms very, very restricted.

So - by way of an appeal - if you are resident in a country such as South Africa, Britain, Holland, Germany, Australia, USA, Canada, or ant other country where free condom supplies are generously available from health authorities, you can help Dr. Philippe by bringing condoms to Pattaya when you next visit - ANY QUANTITY will be gratefully appreciated.

Condoms can be left with David at La Cage Bar in Soi VC - next to White Night Restaurant, or at the Thais4Life Bookshop in Soi Yensabai Condotel (off Soi VC) which is open Monday to Saturday from 12.00 noon - 6.00 pm. (See Map for location of La Cage Bar, White Night Restaurant and Thais4Life Bookshop).

Thailand is one of the largest condom producers in the world. Surely one can fine some wholesale prices and get them here. If aqnyone knows where to get them I'll buy a quantity.

Though I am sure the motivations is good is this a truly honest way to go about things? Countries where condoms are distributed for their citizens free of charge do not intend for them to be exported to Thailand.

Mind you I have seen and chastised people who see free packs in gay bars and pocket the lube and put the condoms in the wastebin.
