was looking, and can't seem to find anything overly promising. Apparently Tesco Lotus has some type of online portal, but it's both bare bones (at least in screen reader) and in all Thai, so not sure about that one.

Aside from that, can't find anything. Is there anything such as online grocery shopping / delivery in Pattaya? I don't mean restauraunt food and the like, but actual groceries so I can cook myself.

Anyone know, does Pattaya have that kicking around? If so, have you used any of them? Any experiences?

I'm assuming I'm probably better off just finding a cute gay guy who's money hungry to do the shopping for me though, but that requires a level of trust, so....

Thanks in advance.

Hello cdnmatt,

I live in Jomtien and I do my food shopping at Foodmart on 2nd road which is in the same place where the Bangkok airport bus station is.
I will ask the next time I am there if they deliver groceries.

Unfortunately, they don't have a proper web page only a facebook entry at
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Foodmart/422858847734843

There is also this dated web page if it might help
https://pattaya.guide/cat/supermarket/

Cheers,
M.

Villa Market in Pattaya offers on-line orders and deliveries. Also I see many Grab motorbike drivers purchasing orders for their clients at supermarkets.

Makro and Big-C also deliver. See: https://www.makroclick.com/th for Makro. At the top right there is an icon to change the language to English.

For Big-C see: https://www.bigc.co.th/ That site also has an icon at the top right to change to English

I think these services have a minimum for delivery, but I'm not sure since I always do my own shopping.

For the usual every day items the 7 now also does-at least from most here in BKK, @home deliv. service and very eco-friendly often on a real bike (yakkayaan, pushbike, nor motosy). But only within a few 100 mtrs-but then I guess they all have same offer and the next one is already there. The one nearest where I stay this week has a big shield also strangely also in Russky. MIN order seems to be 100 bt.-I cannot remember having spent that in 1 time there (today it was 32 and 12).
To my amazement after 2 yrs away many humble streetside foodstalls now also do @home/office etc. delivery-they have that bolt/grab small screen and are watching it every second. A quite good one where I eat 2-3 times a week (with also 2 very friendly and good looking Khmer guys, always in for a good laugh and smile) now has a special guy for this and its super busy around lunchtime. Its also amazing how many motosys from GRab (and now also a few brand new electric scooters) and the others ride around. Would not that suit you even better?
But all the usual hypermarkets-former tesco is now just Lotus since Tesco (from UK) pulled out and BigC and the chains like TOPs and VILLA (expensive import foods) offer @home-with whatever promotion they do this week. That is BKK big city-also noted for its eternal traffic jams, no idea how that works in the country side. Or in this peopleÅ› republic across the river where suddenly so many of its young&willing guys have left it to go looking for better paying work chances in this big city. Most do a terrific good job.
