Having heard that Pattaya City Hospital (PCH) was one of two sites still providing Covid vaccinations, I proceeded there this morning (Friday 17 February) for my #5 … with a friend driving … the other site said to be Banglamung Hospital. …I had never been to PCH before — quite an adventure!! It is located in the depths of very narrow, congested Soi Buakhao … Friday is market day at Soi Buakhao Market and the vaccination is available only on Friday from 8:00 to 12:00 … no clearly visible parking, so only on very crowded street … once getting there, finding somewhat distant parking, wending our way through the hospital's entry floor, to another, rear building.. all seemed to be going well … the final hurdle at this point was being told that the vaccine (Pfizer) for foreigners was not free, but 1380 baht. .. got this far, so what the heck… done and done.
