I was in the area yesterday morning and heard the fire sirens but don't know if it was DJ or not.

DJ Station has had serious fires in the past...hope this isn't the case again.

I imagine we'll see more of these because of the 2 year shutdowns, e.g., dry timber, faulty wiring, lack of maintenance in general, etc.

These types of places scare me.

They are usually packed with customers and if a fire were to break out many would be crushed in the stampede to the door.

Saunas have the added worry that they are often a maze of corridors - a bit like the Ambiance Hotel (and Ikea, for that matter!)

Yes.The thread topic is "Fire at silom soi 2 now". And silom Soi 2 opened the Day after the fire with one of its occupants (DJ) still closed due to some superficial damage to their electrical systems.

Expresso surpassed DJ quite a few years ago as the best venue on that soi
