Hi guys. I do this promotion for free and I have no any affiliation with place that I will introduce to you now, moreover: owners don't know what I made this post.

As per references of my friends in Jomtien complex appears place where you can drink really good coffee. Prices are very affordable.

Place has name "Meeting place" (formerly "All colors"). Two young Thai guys Yod and Film are running it. Few my friends told me what they got there the best coffee in Pattaya and it is important to keep so unique place in business.

So, if you will have time and mood, please visit them and take a sip of coffee there. Lets keep that place on the float.

Location: not far from the entrance to Jomtien complex from sea side.

Two cute boys and a good cup of Java...sounds good to me.

I'll stop by this week for a cappuccino and some flirting.

Thanks for the tip.

Really good coffee isn't that rare in Pattaya.

Roasters with fine coffee include the Back Street Cafe, Dose Yield Time and Benjamit. Gafae is also nice.

However, good coffee is less easily found in Jomtien, so I shall give these a try.

unless you are drinking just an expresso, how well they handle the milk can be just as important as the coffee blend, and certainly more important than their "latte art" skills!

Having a coffee is rarely about the coffee. It's about people watching, cute waiterr's bottoms, the other customers etc etc. In that respect Sunee Plaza ruled the known world.

I like the coffee unadulterated. No milk and certainly none of that low grade poison called sugar.

There is plenty to see in the coffee shops I mentioned, but MP does have the edge for cute staff.

I attend Meeting Place regularly for coffee with friends. The coffee is good and Yod and Film are delightful Baristas. Their taste in music may surprise you, not the usual Thai mix.

There is also a very good view of the masseurs sitting outside their shops across and at the end of the soi. Currently there is a happy hour at MP from 5.00pm to 8.00pm.

What is the off fee for the baristas at Meeting Place?

The best thing about Meeting Place is its location - three massage shops in full view, all currently well-stocked. The two young guys running it are cute and friendly; one is the boyfriend of the middle-aged Asian owner, so not available at all I would guess. The coffee itself is acceptable but nothing special IMO. It's a bit better across the soi at Delices French bakery, where as a bonus you can have a yummy cake with your coffee. Meeting Place seems popular whenever I walk past, so good luck to it.

I'm no expert on Pattaya coffee shops generally, but Coffee Club in Royal Garden has consistently good coffee whenever I go there. A bit more expensive but no complaints from me.

……one the boyfriend of the middle-aged Asian owner, so not available at all I would guess …..

So just watch the coffee shop now having an influx of some cuntish SGF members out to try and coax the poor guy to go with them for 500 baht just so that they can say “with his BF my ass, I had him for Baht AND I got a free coffee thrown into the bargain ! Those Thai boys, they’re all the same you know” - as if it would be the Thai guy who would be the more low life of the two in that situation somehow.

...wtf...is the question that offensive?? picking up a guy in a non whore establishment is NOT unusual...over the last 25 years have lost count of the number I have....the fact he's already owned by some old local is neither here nor there...possibly he's kept on a short leash and would welcome some cash on the side...
On topic now, place looks nicely fitted out and if the operators keep staffing it with eye candy Im sure it will be well patronised...

Where is it??

Across the road from Delices de France coffee shop.

Or just down the road from that dreadful Cafe John, on the other side.

I tried the Meeting Place coffee today and it was rather good.

Not as nice as the best specialist roasters listed earlier, but better than much of the competition in Jomtien.12295

To be honest, coffee in your cap looks more like Americano than Espresso. does it had slightly acid taste?

Correct. I usually drink Americano, with just the occasional espresso.

It was quite mellow. Not as bitter as some of the lesser coffee shops and not quite as distinctive as that from the roasters.

Came to Jomtien specifically for this coffee shop, walked through the complex, couldn't find it.
Asked at Dick's if they knew this place, and manager said there is no Meeting Place at complex. Well, obviously it is here, successfully hidden.
Ended up ordering at Dick's, always excellent Thai food and coffee drinkable.

Does anyone know what is next to Meeting Place, or what is opposite? Is it closer to Theappya Rd Thepprasit end entrance?

Disregard, friendly foreigner pointed to where it is, it is a portable cafe, I marched right by it without noticing. It is across Dodo's bar, on the corner. There is a massage shop across it, and every time I pass, I put my head down, massage guys need work, get excited when someone walks by, and I feel guilty just passing by.

I had a coffee at Dick's about 10 years ago and have been in no hurry to risk it again. From your description, perhaps it has improved.

Coffee latte is not bad, it is strong and much more a cappuccino than latte, at 60 baht no complaints. Starbucks smallest latte now 135 baht, with staff borderline rude on every location except Avenue.
Dick's have comfy chairs to lounge for an hour. I used to eat there every day when living in Jomtien, their fried rice with shrimp is really good.

Complex very quiet during day, as you know, most places only staff sitting around. I never was huge fan of Jomtien Complex, and ppreferred Boyztown, but now starting to like ccomplex more and more. Tomorrow Meeting Point

I dont now about the coffee but I do know that they do GREAT milkshakes though !!

I think perhaps one of the best I've ever had and they're always on my list on my return and they've yet to disappoint .

Although I'm never quite sure as to whether they ARE in fact lovely or I'm just so relaxed and pleased that I'm sitting in pattaya, perhaps with some nice company that the world seems so great that I just THINK they're lovely ! :)

Meeting Place latte is seriously good coffee, easily competes with Benjamin Coffee Roasters cafe on Pattaya Tai, South Rd, many seem to consider best coffee in Pattaya.

Very small place, and with nine foreigners and one Thai customer, the busiest place in Jomtien Complex around 4 PM. Every other place anywhere near has staff only sitting around at this early hour

Definitely worth going to taste their stuff.

I totally agree with latintopxxx. I didn't come to Thailand to do charitable work. When I walk past a massage shop, I acknowledge their attempts with a smile or even a Hello, but feel no guilt for not using their services.

The same here. I contribute to the Thai economy, support a few good businesses with my custom and tip good service. However, the charity and social support can be left for the Thais to do.
The regime doesn't seem very good at that, but it's an issue for Thais to fix, not me. They seem quite good at channeling money towards all sorts of crazy schemes, including keeping certain individuals in extreme luxury, shoddy and pointless construction schemes, subsidizing diesel and even funding the detention of people who fail COVID tests.

Incidentally, quite a high proportion of my holiday expenditure ends up in the hands of Cambodian and Lao citizens. So that's going to the even more needy.

I'm not quite sure what gave anyone the impression that the massage boys want anyone to feel sorry for them. They make themselves available if you want their services, just like any other working boy, and if you do fine, and if you don't that's OK too.

Being confronted with "boys for sale" was a totally new experience for me when I first came to Thailand, and I still don't feel totally comfortable in certain settings. Returning a smile and being polite always seems to work out just fine. If you're the type that prefers turning your nose up to them, or making rude gestures, that's OK too. They'll smile anyway...even though they've already pegged you as an undesirable person (bad karma). That's just human nature. Up2U!
