I plan to go to Pattaya after completing my 7 days in the Phuket Sandbox later in February. If it had been possible to apply for the Test and Go program when I decided to visit Thailand, I would have applied for that. But that was not the case, so I ended up with the Sandbox experience instead. Maybe not such a bad choice since I have not been to Phuket since the 1990s.
Anyway, are the gay hotels like Ambiance and the others in Boystown open nowadays? And what about Agate and Zing in Jomtien? I normally dont stay in Jomtien when I visit Pattaya, but have been thinking about doing it this time.

Ambience is currently closed. Agate in Jomtien Complex was open the last time I passed by.

Hope this helps.

Good luck and enjoy your visit.

I know someone who stayed in Agate in December, for 1100 per night.

There are some good room rates for what is open.

Yes, Agate is open. I had a booking for Agate in March, now sadly postponed. I expect to be there in May/June.

Serene Hotel in Boyztown is open, a friend stayed there.

Mosaik Apartment near Tuk-Com is open, and with standard room 500 THB per night great value for money, I stayed there.

Agreed.
If proximity to nightlife is your priority, stay in Jomtien.

Pattaya still has the edge for daytime services.
