The government is supposed to meet again on October 15 to discuss this and other Covid related issues.

They have no more idea yet than the rest of us. Reopening will be much more complicated than unlocking the doors and turning on the lights.

On the ground from the perspective of gay nightlife nothing has changed and there is little talk of imminent change. Anyone planning on coming for the bars and GoGo bars shouldn’t plan seriously till there is affirmative information as to a reopening anything else is mere folly.

The mamasan of one (gay) go go bar in Bangkok has invited men to apply to work there and replied 'soon' when I asked what date they might open.
