A friend of mine said yesterday "that we are back to square one". My response was "I wish we were - square one wasn't nearly this bad".

I've booked an Airbnb from mid-October until early November in Pattaya. Even if they would allow vaccinated tourists, they might make you stay at SHA hotels or jump through other bureaucratic hoops to get into the country.

I might have been too optimistic.

Luckily, bookings are 100% refundable.
