According to a tweet from Khaosod News “Starting Monday, restaurants in Bangkok metro, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, and Songkhla will be banned from offering dine-in service. Gatherings of more than 20 people, as well as holding events at hotels and conference centers, will also be banned for the next 30 days.”

Reuters reported something similar in an article mostly about the quarantining of construction sites which are often found to be COVID “hotspots”:

This almost certainly will impact Balcony’s announced re-opening: https://sawatdeenetwork.com/v4/showthread.php?22106-More-Silom-Soi-4-news/page4

Here's to hoping Thailand doesn't turn into another India.

Troops are being deployed to ensure construction workers remain locked in to their sites which (see OP) are now “hotspots”. The government will supply food for free and pay the workers 50% of their wages.

The military and police are being deployed to seal off nearly 600 construction worker camps in the Bangkok area to ensure the inhabitants don’t leave before their camps are closed.

The Thai government has imposed shutdowns on “risky places”, especially worker camps in Bangkok and nearby provinces. Also, 4 southern provinces: Pattani, Yala, Songkhla, and Narathiwat. The shutdown is set to last for 30 days beginning Monday. The move is intended to halt the spread of Covid-19.

However, the government says they will extend construction contracts and pay 50% of workers’ wages as they sealed off in their camps. Additionally, the government intends to supply food and water for the workers. Security officers would also be sent to make sure the workers don’t leave their camps, says government spokesperson Anucha Burapachaisri.

It’s not just Bangkok - some provinces are imposing “lockouts”. Buriram in Isaan is imposing a 14-day quarantine for all arrivals from Bangkok and a number of other provinces - https://www.thaipbsworld.com/buri-ram-imposes-14-day-anti-covid-19-quarantine-on-all-arrivals-from-bangkok/

If these officers are anything like the Immigration idiots who let the Central Department store's son back from his gambling jaunt to Cambodia without any form of any quarantine (and we known how his being infected spread), we'd better start praying to some higher being!

As Guido, the owner of 'G's restaurant says today "I simply have no words anymore".There will be restaurateurs in many cities across the world who have been forced in and out of closures more often than a Patpong whore changes her knickers. Surely G’s exasperation does not result from a belief that somehow the Thai authorities are pursuing policies unique in the world.
