It's been a while since we got an update about Moscow. I would like to know if there is a good moneyboy market. Considering that no previous visit has been made and the local language not spoken. Which part of town would be the best to can an Airbnb? The usual apps or is there something special for Moscow?

I just saw this post, but I think it's better late than never ;) There is no special gay area in Moscow, we have several gay clubs, bars and saunas here, but they are all scattered around the city, some close to the center and the historical part, and some quite far from it. So just try to be as close to the Kremlin as you can afford ;) I believe that now the most popular application for finding moneyboys is Hornet, Grindr, and a special Telegram channel for escort and massage https://t.me/huntersescortgay (but mostly tops in there). Model boys will cost you from 5000 rubles (60€) but could be cheaper. It is worth visiting Moscow in the first week of January, when Russia has a big 10-day winter vacation and many boys from small towns will come to the capital like moths to the light ;)

That is a very good tip, indeed. I have experienced this in other countries. It's amazing how hungry these small-town boys are.

Although, Moscow in the winter doesn't sound like a blast :-)

I always arrange my travels not to coincide with local holidays: hotels and public transport can be booked out, shops are closed because owners are on holiday. For me, these inconveniences cannot be compensated by higher availability of boys.

We just had Pchum Ben in Cambodia, here it was that everyone goes back to their family and Phnom Penh was quieter than usually.
