Restaurants re-open (no booze)

Thailand has now issued a “lockdown colour code” of 4 tiers that allows some restaurant opening. In the Naughty Corner (dark red) restaurants may remain open until 9pm and operate at 25% capacity at any one time. No dancing on tables is permitted (ie. no alcohol). Greater Bangkok including Nonthaburi to the north and Swampy Airport to the south is dark red. For those who enjoy slumming it, Pattaya is in the orange zone. Slum dwellers will already know what that means in dining opportunities - restaurants may trade as usual but may not sell alcohol. It conveniently allows for districts to be moved between zones based on COVID infection trends.
