That's good news for at least 16 million people if they can hold to their timeline...but what about the other 50 million people

I have a much higher confidence in AZ vaccine now than I had 12 months ago, due to the tremendous amount of improvements made to the Thai Labs (Siambioscience) processes over the past 12 months.

As expected, many changes had to be made to internal and external processes to ensure higher levels of quality and reliability for vaccine made in Thailand. AZ obviously invested in supporting Thailand in making these changes, which have also fallen under the scrutiny of Third-Party Auditors who not only approved the quality processes at the Lab after improvements were made, but will monitor these processes on an ongoing basis throughout the lifecycle of the vaccine. Making these changes to the way the Lab operates and controls its Quality, and achieving registration to third-party international standards is where my confidence comes from.

I still personally prefer a U.S. vaccine because of its efficacy and reliability, but AZ is a hell of a lot better than that cheap crap coming out of China.

The government are expecting batches to be delivered regularly until the end of the year.
