I originally applied for and was granted the usual 90 day O Visa (over 50 year old).

I recall at the time the STV visa was only valid 60 days and with no guarantee of a 30 day extension, although it is usually granted. This I wanted to avoid.

As my 90 days are up I had the choice of either a standard 30 day extension or the Covid 60 day extension. I chose the latter for flexibility of return dates.Galatians 6:7

Us {sic} atheists would say TIT!In your case, not for much longer. I should have known you’re an atheist, all that ghastly self-righteous certainty.

Sorry, (whatever your name is today), the bait you're using is better suited for tadpoles.

Did you not take Dodgers excellent advice?

Did you not take Dodgers excellent advice? Why would anyone bait tadpoles? Like so much of what Dodgems writes, it makes no sense at all.

Exactly so. I am a resident, you are merely a sex tourist.

Semantics....

Ahh yes. The autumn is definitely Scotland. The greens and greys and browns of the land, sea and sky create a palette of melancholic beauty. Stalkers don gaberdine and tweed and go off to shoot anything they can for dinner.

Spring belongs to Wales. A fairy land full of rivers and gulleys, hills and woods. It comes alive as the weather warms and the lambs gambol over hills, full of innocent vigour prior to being eaten.

But the summer belongs to England. No country does summer so well. Cricket on the green, ploughmans lunches for everyone, 6 hour traffic jams to the seaside, gardens turn into miniature menagerie's. Fresian cows seem to he everywhere and the long summer evenings see the light bounce around in sync with the evening birdsong.

There’s a wonderful piece in Calendar Girls from, I think, the funeral of the husband John Clarke that expresses similar sentiments
