The role of Twitter in disseminating Chinese government disinformation is covered briefly in this week’s Economist. Such authoritarian regimes specialise in spreading FUD - fear, uncertainty and doubt - in and about Western nations. It’s a new form of “Cold War” and can be found in many places these days.

For sure Chinese use Twitter for propaganda. US and EU have no monopoly on such using. Democrats posting propaganda against republicans, republicans - against democrats. Both uses Twitter against EU, Russia and China. It is media. Tool. Why somebody accuses China for using tool? You should be stupid if you don't use it.
