Ivermectin - Cure to Kovid-19?

I'm sure many of you have heard of Ivermectin by now. Any thoughts on it, or experience with it? Sounds pretty promising though, widely available, first came to market back in 1965 so very safe, and used for parasites like roundworms, etc. Apparently, it totally obliterrates Kovid-19.

Out of the many countries with covid, if there is anything in this, one would expect proper double blind randomized trials to be conducted somewhere.
