how about a long term visa ?

The problem with Chinese is their culture. Homosexuality there is not as acceptable as in Thailand. Also, too many scams there in China, chinese people have very complicate minds and they have no hospitality.

Scott 123, you would be surprised at how acceptable homosexuality is in China when there is money involved. Of course I wasn't suggesting for one moment people desert lovely Pattaya in their droves and head for some large industrial border town with Hong-Kong, just because they can get four hours in any position for 100yuan is hardly reason enough.
Not only are they complex, but western concepts of life style, like more than a square meter total living space are completely foreign to them, the food too can be a little dicey. Somehow, dangerous industrial strength chemicals, regularly find their way into quite ordinary food stuffs like rice and baby food !

But which self respecting Brit would pass up the chance at being supported by the BF, even their fair Queen had to rent a converted car-ferry to take her summer cruise to the outer islands. It's all that understated luxury. It seems very much this centuries thing.
