These two videos shot this week are truly shocking. It’s good to read about these places on here but to see these vids really brings it home.

The first is a walk around BT narrated in German but it doesn’t matter if you do not speak German, it’s the video which is so sad.

The second shows a walk around Patong, Phuket. Truly awful.

First one is coming up as Video Unavailable ? But if it's even a fraction like the Phuket Video then OMG ! Only saving grace perhaps as the guy in the video says Thai's are an ingenioius bunch and the minute tourists are allowed back whoever is left will I'm sure crank things up again fairly quickly with whatever is left - .....he said hopefully !

Yep that worked. And yeah Boystown, what a sad sight to behold when we all know it can be and was so much more. I see it was a Tuesday night that he recorded that video which even a year or two ago wouldn't exactly have been bouncing anymore there either actually in September maybe, but still of course no where near as bad as that. Good though still to see SOME signs of life hanging on elsewhere around the straight bars in Pattaya, lets hope it's enough to keep people ticking over until things hopefully improve again.

P is staying Jomtien at the moment visiting old friends....those remaining. He confirms that it is very quiet, as is central Pattaya. But we knew that. What interested me is the prices he was offered at hotels. He eventually chose Agate; 1000bht pn, including breakfast. They know him as a regular so that may have influenced the deal but nonetheless, it's quite a deal. The rack price in the Good Old Days was nearer 3000bht pn.
