It seems a poor business decision to reopen a boy beer bar in Sunee Plaza, but it could be a positive sign with ‘high season’ not

Last night, Friday, there were four bars open in Sunee all with customers. Winner, Green, One and Rainbow. Also new colored lights in the soi.

I was a frequent visitor to Pattaya in the late 90's and the 00's and would like to return this winter but the options seem meager. For this time of year it was quite busy with farangs last night, with many new faces and loads of boys from Thailand but most from Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar. There is a NEW bar in Jomtien. It is outside of the Jomtien Complex. It is in the alleyway that is directly behind the Bamboo bar. If you know where the Pirate Bay Cafe and D.D. Inn are - this new gay bar, ZOOMER Bar is in that same short alleyway. They are a nice bunch of enthusiastic guys. I hope that they can manage to survive outside of Supertown in a hidden alleyway.

And I found it also as halcyon on 27/10: loads of Lao/KHmer and fewer Burmese guys, and be very merry and happy too: NO Vietnamese (yet?-or at least I did not meet any). With the amount of Lao guys currently here in BKK in the msg-shops I am surprised that underpopulated country with so few people still has young male inhabitants. They do differ more from the usual Isany guys as I had thought before. Many can be quite funny and entertaining-a big bonus for me.

The bar in Sunee Plaza, Green Chairs, is not the same as the one in Jomtien Complex although names are the same. Green Chairs still open but very few customers.

I sat in Zoomer Bar this evening and there were 7 boys and some 20 years old or so, mostly Thai boys and a nice admosphere with one part for sitting/meeting and one part for pool and so on. They are connected to the bar in the Complex called Sunee Bar. No loud music and nice to sit. Recommended :))
