The Avenue on 2nd road has been rented for 9 years by a Indian/Thai businessman to create an entertainment complex similar to Nana Plaza. It plans to open at the end of March. There are 17 units available to rent for gogos and bars. Is this the boost Pattaya has been waiting for?
I knew several Indian gays who visited Sunee Plaza during the boom(boom) times. Someone should take this businessman to Sunee for a possible similar investment.

A very “courageous” move in the current climate of bars generally struggling to survive

If he does it smartly, and one can well expect Indians to do that, he just buys a few Bollywood-movie-makers to feature all that in a few mega-cash-movie and the flocks will stream in-to the extent new flites have to be laid on. Thats the way the Indians came here first place.
Its just that, uh , touchy subject, it always seems Thai and Indians seem not to go together very well. But even that has not kept them @ home for their weddings etc.

Indians have become the dominant group in south Pattaya by far. Dozens of Indian restaurants and even a nightclub.

Most of the boys/girls aren't willing to take Indian as customer because they are paying very little or want group sex on purpose to save money and split the fee between them.

Does anyone know the thinking of Madam Sunee and/or owners of Sunee Plaza? Are they doing anything to promote their properties? Over the past 5 years, they must have seen a huge drop in revenue. Is the valuation of the property increasing or decreasing.?

The latter only the Thai taxman will know-as from 2020 a new estate tax will be introduced. For the rest its zero interest.
I dk this lady but apparently it seems it all goes the same as with >90% of such Thai properties-blame it on someone else, whilst lacking yourself any tactic. It may have come as a big surprise at the time then that so many bisnis would want to rent there. Major concern of most such homeblock-owners is that who knows when a richer bisnismen comes along with a bright idea (mostly a total copy of someone else who had succes-think of opening a new HTL) and buys the lot and scraps it down. Here in Thai such rowhousebuildings are not made to last more as 20/25 yrs.
Are there already hanging out those notes that land/house is for sale (these are always only in Thai and state the groundarea in square wa)?
