Those who live in or visit Bangkok and remember the Telephone Bar in its glory days during the Nineties may recall Geoffrey Hattersley who was a regular then. Geoff lived and worked in Bangkok after retiring from Maggie Thatcher's private office. Sad to say, Geoff died yesterday quite suddenly, in his home in Thonglor. He was a couple of months short of his 80th birthday
