Here's a biography....sort of. The subject is another of P's friends.

2003; Soon after I met P. he introduced me to a fellow go go dancer at Dream Boys (the Pattaya one). He was about twenty-four, cute but slightly too effeminate for my taste, though a friend of mine was smitten.

2006 (or7). P takes me to show in Sawatdee Bar in which his friend is a contestant in an "ugly khatoey" show....that is, a comical turn with outrageous make-up and dress.... and wins first prize.

Between 2007 and 2011, P is often at home in Kamphaeng Phaet but we always share a bbq with the friend in Pattaya Tai when P and I are on holiday. During this period, a transformation is taking place. Each time I see him, he is more feminised, in clothes and manner.

By 2012, he has a full-time job as a mamasan in a boys-for ladies karaoke. He is now submerged in the khatoey demi-monde and P and he rarely meet, though they communicate on LINE.

Since 2017, the three of us have again been eating together once a trip. When the friend appears, he always hides shoulder-length hair under a large cap. His jeans and shirts are flamboyant but suitable for a man...just. I've only seen him in a dress on a few occasions.

A year or so back, we met as usual and his feminised manner had all but disappeared. His hair was still hidden- he'd always had long hair - but the jewelry and make-up weren't there.

P explained that he still worked on the karaoke scene but was no longer considered himself a khatoey...apparently the clothes and make-up were costing him too much!. He'd taken some hormone drugs ten or so years back that had shriveled his equipment (something he didn't like) but- fortunately- had never considered the op even when he was a member the khatoey demi-monde.

His sexual interest is, and always has been, straight guys.

So it appears that, for him, the "ladyboy thing" was always an act, just like his appearances in shows. And there were many of them. But was it? Back in 2007, when he was in the Sawatdee show, he came to sit with P and and I didn't recognise him at first. I was interested by how much of him was "in character" while he sat with us and I recall saying to P then that one day he'd be a ladyboy full-time. P agreed. He'd known him back home and always suspected as much even when they were teenagers.

I'll see him him again the a few weeks. I wonder what he'll be this time?

" ... he has a full-time job as a mamasan in a boys-for ladies karaoke.... "We went to a Hua Hin restaurant a number of years ago which then (and now) has, in my opinion, the absolute best massaman curry known to mankind.
Sitting down I looked deeply into the waiter/owner's eyes and ordered mamasan chicken curry with rice. The owner let out a great hoot of laughter and Pot slowly slipped under the table, and I sat alone, both arms strung out like an albatross's wings "... what? what? what? eh? eh? ..."

Witness the Thai word for “banana”, when pronounced by your average wannabe non-Thai, sounding just like “penis” to the Thai listener. Thai friends of mine say “Korean” and “itchy cunt” are also closely related. Then there’s my favorite Democrat presidential hopeful of the moment, gay Pete Buttigieg, known universally amongst my friends as Pete Buttplug

My casual - and very unscientific.. - observation of ladyboys over the years, is that most stop dressing in women's clothes soon after they hit their thirties and either live their lives as camp gay men, or in one or two cases, revert to very straight acting men.

There is one street vendor I know who dresses in jeans and T shirt during the day selling fruit from a barrow cart, looking and acting 100% straight; but then does a spectacular transformation each evening..

When I first started visiting Pattaya a long time ago I became friendly with three young guys, “Neung”, “Ton” and “Am”. They were very close friends and I met up with them on each visit which was usually twice a year.

One year I was with Neung and Ton in “Gacuya” a Go Go Bar in Soi 1 on the edge of Boyztown (it’s now a derelict empty shell). An attractive young lady came across and Neung introduced me with a gesture but didn’t say any name. I looked up and invited her to join us as she was obviously a friend of Neung’s. That’s when everyone started laughing and, as you’ve probably guessed, I realised that I knew “her” as it was old friend Am.

I’d had no hint previously that Am was a candidate to become a Ladyboy and had offed him when he had worked at “Wild West Boys” (another abandoned bar). I’m not keen on effeminacy in any guy that I off so I was very surprised.

Am was lucky in his bone structure as he made a very convincing woman and he dressed conservatively and could pass as female rather than an obvious Ladyboy.

The following year he was working as a Mamasan in a small upstairs bar but I don’t remember its name and it too has gone now.

Sadly he always had a drink problem and the last news I had of him was that he was no longer employable and had left Pattaya.

I wonder how many transvestites hide their fetish under the burqa, or is part of the attraction flaunting feminisms such as make up? I’ve seen Malay transvestites dress in the conservative female Malay style in Johor Bahru, across the causeway from Singapore. Scotland is full of men wearing skirts but there the outfit is known as a “kilt”

Or that's what they want people to think!
My understanding is that there is an underground casino located on the old Gacuya/City Boys premises...

Talking of gender fluidity. It seems the fuckwits who cunningly got themselves aligned with perfectly normal whore seeking penis peeking toy boy buying cruising choosing scrotum toting banking on wanking jerkin' the gerkin gay Desperadoes like me are having second thoughts.

How can I put this. FUCK OFF and don't bother us again.

I met one handsome young lad in Euro Boys gogo bar about 6 years ago and have seen him on several trips since. Euro Boys was one of my favourite bars.
Anyhow, about 18 months ago he had breast implants in Bangkok & now wears dresses.
Reverting to wearing male clothes isn't going to hide the breasts.

I took a bite and it felt like a soggy, over ripe apple. So I didn't bother with the right one, now regretting for not following my own rules: to make a thorough inspection of a potential off. Although small they were remnants of what could have been an attempt by using hormones to grow a pair of tits. He was a young, slim, outwardly male friendly waiter at The Venue. Apart from the tits, the encounter was quite fun. I'm just wondering if those aberrations would slowly go away now that he has chosen to retain a masculine chest. I think in future I'll just pick my offs from the go-go bars.
