I don't think what that version is much cooler :)

By the way: maybe you didn't recognize, but version in my post is more new than in your :) On "my" video, recorded in 2009, very charismatic Austrian singer Markus Haider. It is just styled in retro style, moments with crying public are from filmed concert of Beatles.

Wow, no, you're right, I didn't pick up on that and in my still half sleep gaze at my screen over my cornflakes I just "assumed" that it was old ! There you go, see, a good reason why one should never assume eh ! :-) But actually that makes it even worse as I honestly didn't think it was a great cover then at all - from the 50's I'd of forgiven it, but for that to be a modern track, albeit MEANT to sound old, it didn't cut it for me I'm afraid - maybe it was just too many shots of those black haired swooning women in the audience that turned my stomach more perhaps just ! :-)
