I was told that Boat Bar in Patong Beach had closed. Is that true? Is there anywhere gayish to dance there now?

Well if Boat Bar is still alive congratulations to it. I caroused there 20 years ago and it had been in Patong some time before that. Twenty-plus years in that business is quite a feat.
