"A ban on adverts featuring "harmful gender stereotypes" or those which are likely to cause "serious or widespread offence" has come into force. The ban covers scenarios such as a man with his feet up while a woman cleans, or a woman failing to park a car.
The UK's advertising watchdog introduced the ban because it found some portrayals could play a part in "limiting people's potential".

So, is the Viagra connect TV ad exhibiting gender stereotyping ?

You know, the one where a middle aged man flirts with a lady. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Ebdr72nsbs
This is clearly gender stereotyping, since it's clearly implied it's good for male on female intercourse.
Where is the equivalent male on male ad ?

Implying he's going to screw a lady is a clear case of gender stereotyping.

i was thinking more along the lines of ads portraying middle aged white men as being useless at IT or the bumbling embarrassing father at a wedding..
