Pattaya Songkran 2019

I was all set to buy my ticket to Thailand, and then I remembered that Songkran is next month. (Madre de Dios!!!!)

Apparently no water should be thrown in Pattaya until 4/13 from what I have read. If anyone has heard differently, please let me know.

You will definitely get some young children out on the streets on the 11th, but with kiddie sized pistols

On the 12th you can probably expect to see water being thrown along beach road lady bars in the day time, and by 23.00 on the 12th you can pretty much guarantee that someone will kick things off and the mayhem will start in pockets around town

The chaos day in Pattaya is the 19th.

I would recommend you wait till April 20 to come to Pattaya, many expats from Pattaya go elsewhere during the entire holiday and many of the bar boys return to their families .

I’ve just booked a couple of weeks from next Monday - sounds like I will not be in Pattaya over Songcran. Good.
I hope there will be plenty of boys about.
I should be staying in the Complex. If anyone would like to meet please-maybe me.
