Sadly it has been reported that Dk Valdez of the El Duo...has died.

"Shocked and saddened to hear this evening of the death of Dk Valdez in Thailand. A talented Vocalist and thoroughly nice person,we go back a long way. At the moment words fail me. RIP my friend, you will be missed."

Not to be ageist but I was expecting it to be some old dude, this guy was not only terribly good looking but also so young. Maybe its time some of us who moan and groan at lifes slightest inconveniences take a moment to thanks (insert your version of God here) for letting us carry on.

Some obvious possibilities, i.e. accident, murder, HIV and OD.

Due to the suddenness of this,I doubt it was HIV. Murder is equally unlikely.
I’d bet accident (motorbike or similar) or suicide (including OD).
Probably something like the latter in view of the absence of any statements.

He was a good guy.I knew him many years.He will be missed by his family and many friends.

From what I can gather from the Filipino press, his family has been trying to repatriate his body back to the Philippines with the help of Richard Claudio. It has been difficult because his family members do not have passports but family connections are assisting. Preliminary autopsy reports suggest some kind of foul play but nothing concrete so far.

As a tribute to our dear friend DK who tragically passed away recently, The Venue is hosting a special tribute show featuring Richard, his El Duo singing partner, along with friends and The Venue dancers on Saturday 26 January 2019. Show starts at 10pm.
Seat reservations available on request.
Free entrance, usual drink prices.

which was translated by my neighbour's helper. Her English is not the best and is heavily accented. She might have said there was little evidence of foul play or something to that effect and I misunderstood her. My apologies.
