No snow here either, but did have a massive wind storm a couple days back that knocked out power and internet for about 100,000 of us on the west coast. Good now, but expecting another wind storm later tonight, so might be out of commission for a couple days again shortly.

Yes, what Moses is talking about is very well documented in a Polish 2005 documentary called "Children of Leningradsky" which can now be seen on youtube. This was filmed in Moscow in 2004 not 1990.
